Course content

This module of two weeks deals with demanding implant prosthetics, CAD/CAM technology, and guided surgery.

• Introduction to implantology – prosthetic concepts, how to handle difficult implant positions
• Fields of application of guided surgery
• Choice of abutments according to the assortment set
• Special hints regarding impression technique for implant works
• Course work: implant work with combination of primarily screwed fixation and gluing technique with a critical bone situation
• Practical hands-on with 3shape software (Dental Designer, Abutment Designer) and scanner
• Material aspects (zircon, press-to-metal ceramic)
