New international ceramic course in 2012


This intensive training is a preparation for the academia dental course „fixed denture“. It contains the full range of modern ceramic restorations. Within one week dental technicians may become familiar with different possibilities of ceramic veneering techniques. The focus is on aesthetical and functional aspects.
For participation basic knowledge of anatomic modeling, frames and veneering technique are required.

 

During only one week participants prepare (supervised by qualified trainers):
- a three-piece incisal bridge (conventional casting technique) with metal ceramic (VITA VM 13)
- a premolar single crown made of zircon dioxid with press-to- metal veneering (BeCe PRESS Z)
- a molar single crown out of Wirobond C+ made by laser-melting technique with BeCE PRESS veneering.

Furthermore, during the course important aspects regarding material are treated. Another focus is on the introduction to CAD/CAM technology. Therefore, the BEGO Medical training room with 10 digital workstations is at the participants‘ disposal. During the course, participants will be able to visit the new BEGO Medical CAD CAM manufacturing center, one of the most modern production centers worldwide.
