Requirements

Know-how can be extended
Through the establishment of academia • dental BEGO pursues the goal of providing further training to experienced dental technicians with qualified specialized know-how. Besides the extensive theoretical part that will be taught, the focus is on practical work. The high degree of dental complexity of the combined partial denture which has to be prepared by the participants requires successful completion of several years of dental training and adequate practical experience. Therefore, the participants should have performed work on demanding forms of tooth replacement at a dental laboratory for at least three years after their education.
Please check whether you have the following skills:

Course "Removable denture: Milling and Doublecrown techniques"

  • Good know-how concerning the crown and bridge techniques (morphology, wax-up, etc.)
  • Basic know-how regarding the milling technique and attachment processing (practical experience!)
  • Basic know-how in metal-ceramics work
  • You should have at least theoretical knowledge of the partial denture technique!

Course "Fixed Denture: CAD/CAM based implant prosthetics"

  • Good know-how concerning the crown and bridge techniques (morphology, wax-up, etc.)
  • Basic know-how regarding the milling technique (practical experience!)
  • Basic know-how in metal-ceramics work

Know-how with respect to the milling techniques and attachment processing can be extended through courses at the BEGO TRAINING CENTER in Bremen.
In the long term further training is also planned for other specialized fields.
In addition to the technical qualifications, it is important, of course, that you have a good knowledge of the "course language" specified for the respective course date.
In case you have any doubts regarding the requirements, Mr. Henning Wulfes, head of the academia • dental, (Tel. +49-421-2028 370, wulfes(at)bego.com), is at your disposal for any questions.
